Job title: Clinical Assistant
About the Role The Clinical Assistant supports direct patient care and helps maintain efficient operations in the Dana-Farber patient care environment. This role contributes to delivering compassionate care while helping to keep the clinic running smoothly and accurately documenting care activities.
What You'll Do
- Ensure proper patient identification and maintain patient safety, privacy, confidentiality and follow guidelines under HIPAA.
- Obtain and record vital signs, pain screens, weights and heights accurately into Electronic Medical Records (EMR). Reports changes and/or abnormalities in vital signs.
- Assist with direct patient care activities including meeting the comfort needs of patients, drawing and collecting blood and other samples and supporting the care team as needed.
- Contribute to efficient clinic operations and accurate documentation to support patient flow and care planning.

- Aptitude for recognizing changes or abnormalities in vital signs and reporting them promptly.
- Willingness to perform direct patient care tasks and assist with sample collection as needed.
- Strong team player with good communication and reliability.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary ranges vary by location and role: $50,000.00 - $62,853.73 per year for full-time positions at Chestnut Hill; $48,963.20 - $59,386.60 per year for part-time positions at Foxborough (32 hours/week).
