About the Role Salem Animal Rescue League operates Spay/Neuter Clinics and Dental Care services to improve the health and well-being of pets in the community. What You'll Do
- Coordinate scheduling for Spay/Neuter Clinics and Dental Care services and communicate availability to pet owners.
- Provide information on services offered for cats and dogs, including spay/neuter, vaccines, microchips, dental care, and other listed services.
- Manage waitlists for dental care and inform clients about potential multi-week wait times and first-come, first-served policy for spay/neuter.
- Support the day-of-surgery process, including pre-operative exams and optional pre-surgical blood work.
- Explain payment terms: full payment required at scheduling; payment plans via Cherry; non-refundable, no-call/no-show forfeiture.
What We're Looking For
- Interest in community veterinary services and animal welfare.
- Strong communication and scheduling coordination skills.
- Ability to explain services, pricing, and scheduling steps to clients.
- Comfortable coordinating multiple services (spay/neuter and dental care) and working with waitlists.
