Job title: Clinic Manager
About the Role The Clinic Manager at Ellie Mental Health Clinic supports the Clinic Director in overseeing performance and operations of the Clarksville clinic, while maintaining an active client caseload and fostering a positive, values-driven culture.
What You'll Do
- Participate in Ellie clinic manager meetings and leadership meetings when requested
- Maintain billable hours expectations
- Triage clinic staff’s administrative questions and concerns by connecting them to tools and resources
- Troubleshoot issues within Valant, ADP, Teams, Outlook, and billing systems
- Review EHR service lines and complete error corrections as needed
- Collaborate with the clinic director to support positive culture building (celebrations, anniversaries, community drives, etc.)
- Monitor clinic capacity and practice patterns to support hiring to meet FTE staffing, space, and client waitlists
- Partner with the clinic director to support administrative changes (office space, waitlists)
- Coordinate with the clinic director to support the hiring process (screening, interviewing, onboarding)
- Coordinate office supply orders for the clinic
- Co-facilitate clinic meetings and consultation groups, including documentation via file notes
- Collaborate with the clinic director to maintain organizational policies and procedures
- Serve as back-up for the clinic director when they are out of the office
- Support clinic staff development to ensure accurate use of Valant
- Perform additional duties as assigned
What We're Looking For
- Master’s Degree or higher in a mental health discipline
- Independently licensed with a Tennessee clinical practice license (e.g., LCSW, LPC-MHSP, LMFT)
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
- Strong working knowledge of state requirements regulating mental health practice
- Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Working understanding of HR principles, practices, and procedures
- Excellent time management with proven ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to function well in a high-paced and changing environment
- Proficient with Microsoft 365 applications
- Adept at learning and navigating Electronic Health Record systems
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $80,000–$90,000 per year
