About the Role Clinic LPN serving in a Primary Care Clinic at T.J. Regional Health in Glasgow, KY. Acts as primary liaison between patients, staff, and physician to support effective and efficient patient care, measures and records pertinent medical information, and assists in examinations and minor procedures. What You'll Do
- Administer medications and assist providers in examinations and minor procedures.
- Document patient records and maintain confidentiality.
- Measure and record pertinent medical information; perform daily routine assessments and prioritize patient needs.
- Provide nursing care including medication administration, point-of-care testing, and patient education.
- Assist physicians in patient procedures as needed.
- Maintain detailed, objective, and accurate documentation; ensure EMR records are up to date.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to achieve effective and efficient patient care. What We're Looking For
- Active Kentucky LPN license and eligible to practice in Kentucky.
- Current CPR certification.
- Ability to provide nursing care including administering medications and treatments, interpreting diagnostic tests, collaborating with other healthcare providers, and providing education to patients and/or significant others.
- Strong communication and observation skills; ability to work as a member of a healthcare team.
- Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and deliver excellent customer service.
- Willingness to perform additional duties as assigned. Nice to Have
- EMR experience preferred
