Agency: Omnicom Media

Job Function: Account Management and Growth

Job Subfunction: Account Management

Job Description:

Kinesso is a performance-led marketing agency within Omnicom Media, part of the wider Omnicom network. That means you get the best of both worlds: a close-knit team with specialist expertise, backed by the scale, connections and opportunities of a global marketing group.

We believe great work starts with good people. We’re a collaborative team where you can ask questions, share ideas, learn from those around you and build your confidence, all while working with some of the world’s leading brands.

Our Leeds office is home to the UK Centre of Excellence for SEO and Content. You’ll work alongside specialists across digital media, data, technology and strategy, with opportunities to collaborate with colleagues and clients across the wider Omnicom network.

And because work is only one part of life, we want you to have time to enjoy everything outside it too. We offer flexible working, early-finish Fridays, free breakfast and lunch, and a generous annual leave allowance.

The Opportunity

Are you organised, curious and someone who enjoys building relationships and getting great work over the line? We’re looking for an Account Manager to join our Client Success team and help our clients get the most from the work we do together.

You’ll be at the heart of day-to-day client relationships, helping turn briefs and ideas into great work. Working closely with clients and our specialist teams, you’ll keep projects moving, bring people together, communicate clearly and make sure we deliver what we’ve promised.

As you get to know your clients and their goals, you’ll use data, insights and your own ideas to spot opportunities and make recommendations. You’ll also build confidence in project management, presenting and commercial thinking, with plenty of scope to take on more responsibility as you develop.

You’ll get exposure to a global technology account worth over £1m, while taking ownership of day-to-day activity across your own portfolio of leading brands in retail, ecommerce and FMCG. It’s a chance to learn from a large account while building strong client relationships of your own.

You don’t need to know everything on day one. A good grounding in digital marketing, an interest in how it works and the confidence to ask questions and keep learning matter most. Experience in an agency, client services, marketing or project management role would be a great start.

Key Responsibilities

What we’re looking for:

  • Digital marketing know-how - a strong understanding of SEO, plus an awareness of how digital, traditional and emerging channels work together to meet client goals

  • Relationship building - experience managing client relationships and helping deliver successful work, with a focus on being dependable, thoughtful and solutions-focused

  • Communication - clear, confident written and verbal communication, with an interest in turning information into a story and presenting ideas that bring clients on board

  • Comfort with data - familiarity with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs or similar tools, and an ability to turn findings into useful next steps. We’re looking for a base level here, and a willingness to learn!

  • Organisation - you’re good at keeping track of details, juggling different projects and priorities, and making sure deadlines don’t slip

  • Commercial curiosity - an interest in how great client service, quality work and good ideas help clients succeed and accounts grow

  • Curiosity - you like learning, keep an eye on what’s changing and are open to new approaches, including AI and automation, where they can improve our work

  • Teamwork and growth - you enjoy working with others, sharing ideas, learning from people with different expertise and building your skills over time

  • We’re looking for someone with around 2–4 years’ experience in account management, digital marketing or a related agency role. Experience in SEO and content is a bonus, not a must. More important is your attitude, curiosity and willingness to learn - you don’t need to tick every box to apply.

Here is a summary of the other capabilities we’d ideally be looking for:

  • Build great client relationships - Be a trusted day-to-day contact, understand your clients’ goals and keep communication proactive and clear.

  • Keep projects moving - Work with our SEO, Content and wider specialist teams to deliver great work on time, to brief and within budget.

  • Own your accounts - Take responsibility for day-to-day activity across your client portfolio, while supporting the delivery of a major global technology account.

  • Turn data into ideas - Help bring performance reports and insights to life, sharing clear updates and recommendations with clients.

  • Spot opportunities to grow - Get to know your clients’ businesses and work with the team to identify new ways we can add value.

  • Be a great teammate - Bring a positive, organised and curious approach, share ideas and explore new ways of working, including AI.

The Perks:

  • We want you to enjoy where you work, feel supported and see a future for yourself here. You’ll be part of a team with plenty to share, and we’ll encourage you to keep learning, try new things and work towards your next step.

Our current benefits include:

  • Unlimited Annual Leave policy on top of our standard policy of a minimum of 25 days, plus bank holidays

  • The office usually closes between Christmas and New Year

  • Free breakfast and lunches in the office, every day.

  • 4pm finish on a Friday and flexible start and finish times Monday to Thursday (core hours are 10am until 4pm)

  • Annual Review Periods for Pay & Promotions - July

  • 50% office attendance, with an expectation of a minimum of 2 days in the Leeds office per week.

  • Wellbeing support, including Headspace and flu jabs

  • Access to the Bruntwood gym for a one-off £5 payment for an access card

  • Retail, gym and other flexible benefits

  • Paid time off for volunteering

  • Pension contributions matched up to 6%

  • Generous parental leave and pay

  • Life assurance, income protection and private medical insurance or a health cash plan, depending on level

  • Electric vehicle salary-sacrifice scheme, season ticket loan and Cycle to Work scheme

  • Employee Assistance Programme and free eye tests

  • To the extent permissible by local law, Omnicom’s policy requires employees to work in the office for a minimum of three days a week, unless additional in-office days are directed by their agency or manager.

  • Omnicom is committed to hiring and developing exceptional talent. We agree that talent is uniquely distributed, and we’re focused on developing inclusive teams that can bring the best solutions to everything we do. We strongly believe that celebrating what makes us different makes us better together. Join us—we look forward to getting to know you.
