About this role

About the Role The Client Services Intern will be part of the Marex Hedging Solutions Division, working closely with the London-based team. The role is primarily to assist the sales team in the Onboarding phase of client acquisition and periodic reviews, and extends to the management of the lifecycle of client relationships and transactions in a client-facing capacity across all asset classes and client types under the HS mandate. What You'll Do

  • Responsible for the KYC process within Marex Hedging Solutions across both new Client Onboarding and Periodic Reviews
  • Liaise between prospective clients and Sales to gather information and documentation requirements for onboarding to the MS platform
  • Perform periodic reviews for clients by confirming KYC data requirements and collecting relevant KYC information
  • Act as a key point of contact for Client support activities originating from clients and across internal desks (Operations, Margins, Treasury, Compliance, Legal)
  • Develop a good understanding of key systems and end-to-end processes across Marex Solutions
  • Quickly understand and resolve client issues
  • Coordinate with internal teams regarding lifecycle management activities such as account opening/closing, KYC period reviews, mandate changes, operational setup, SSIs, Agile
  • Identify opportunities for improving the customer experience
  • Liaise with clients and Marex’s anti-financial crime team regarding sanction/AML queries on payments
  • Assist with day-to-day account management activities including expiries, reconciliations, settlements, wire outs, margin calls
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Adhere to the operational risk framework and Company Code of Conduct
  • Report breaches to Compliance or supervisor and escalate risk events as required
  • Provide input to risk management processes and, where required, comply with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements What We're Looking For
  • Fluency in English
  • Ability to interact smoothly with multiple internal stakeholders involved in KYC, QC, EDD, FC, Legal, Credit and Sales
  • Proven knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and internal apps/systems
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Collaborative team player with the ability to build relationships and influence others
  • Curiosity, resilience in a fast-paced environment, and strategic, proactive thinking
  • Commitment to regulatory requirements and operating with integrity and due care
