Client Service Representative - Swing/Overnight

Red Plains Veterinary Emergency + Referral is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and customer-focused Swing/Overnight Veterinary Client Service Representative (CSR) to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced veterinary environment and enjoys providing exceptional service to clients during evening and overnight hours.

As the first point of contact for our clients, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming experience while supporting our doctors and technical staff in delivering outstanding patient care.

Some of the responsibilities you will own in this role:

• Provide friendly, quality customer care to patients and clients
• Process invoices payments
• Answer phones, schedule appointments, and obtain all necessary medical history
• Determine the status of the patient’s immunizations and tests
• Communicate with the doctor and technical staff on the patient’s arrival and necessary treatments
• Fill prescriptions, food requests, and over-the-counter products as instructed by a veterinarian
• Accurately input data into computer software

Qualifications

• Previous veterinary receptionist, veterinary client service, or veterinary hospital experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of veterinary terminology is preferred.
• Comfortable using computers and veterinary practice management software.
• Ability to remain calm, professional, and compassionate during emergencies.
• Dependable with excellent attendance and punctuality.
• Must be available to work swing and/or overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
