We provide an integrated approach to client servicing in order to meet the client’s full range of investment and servicing needs. Each new client is assigned to a Client Service team which consists of a Client Advisor, Client Account Manager, Portfolio Manager and Investment Specialist.

As a Vice President in the Client Service Team in Taiwan, you will act as a senior client service contact and escalation point for assigned Intermediary and Institutional clients and business partners. You will help manage complex servicing matters, support regulatory and operational change, strengthen risk and control practices, and contribute to service quality and efficiency across the team.

You will require strong knowledge of Taiwan’s asset management industry, with solid experience in client service, stakeholder management, project execution, and people/performance management. You will be comfortable working with senior stakeholders in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Job Responsibilities

  • Serve as a senior point of contact for Taiwan client service matters across Intermediary and Institutional business, supporting banks, insurance companies, distributors, e-platforms, financial institutions and other key clients.
  • Manage escalated client enquiries, service issues, complaints, and client-impacting changes, ensuring timely resolution and appropriate communication.
  • Build strong and long-term relationships with clients, distributors and institutional partners by understanding their business priorities, servicing needs, operating models, and strategic objectives.
  • Partner with Client Advisors, Investment Specialists, Legal, Compliance, Operations, Control Management, regional teams, and overseas client service teams to deliver effective solutions.
  • Support client onboarding and lifecycle servicing, including documentation, account setup, KYC coordination, client records, cash flow or deal coordination, fee schedules, invoices, and investment guideline discussions.
  • Execute local, regional, and global initiatives related to client experience, regulatory change, operational efficiency, risk reduction, and service transformation.
  • Represent Taiwan Client Service in assigned project workstreams, ensuring client impact, requirements, timelines, risks, and dependencies are clearly managed.
  • Identify, assess, and escalate risk and control issues; ensure adherence to firm policies, procedures, regulatory requirements, and service standards.
  • Influence internal partners to improve processes, reduce manual effort, strengthen controls, and enhance the client experience.
  • Attend client meetings, due diligence sessions, distributor meetings, and internal governance forums as required.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • University degree or equivalent qualification and over 10 years of experience in financial services, in asset management, client service management, operations, distribution support, or related functions.
  • Strong knowledge of Taiwan’s asset management industry, regulatory environment, products, and servicing requirements.
  • Experience in people management, performance management, coaching, work prioritization, stakeholder management, projects, and change execution.
  • Strong client service mindset with the ability to understand client needs, anticipate issues, and deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including experience engaging with senior clients, distributors, sales teams, control partners, and regional/global stakeholders.
  • Strong project management skills, including managing timelines, dependencies, risks, issues, communications, and execution across multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong risk and control mindset, with the ability to identify issues, assess impact, drive resolution, and escalate appropriately.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, adaptable, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Results-oriented, with the ability to balance client needs, business objectives, operational feasibility, and regulatory requirements.
  • Professional license: SITCA License, or Senior Brokerage License or Trust License is a must.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Experience supporting fund distributors, banks, insurance companies, e-platforms, financial institutions and/or institutional clients in Taiwan.
  • Experience working with regional or global stakeholders on cross-border projects, regulatory change, product launches, or client service transformation initiatives.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate complex topics clearly and effectively to senior stakeholders.
  • Strong commercial awareness and ability to balance client experience, business priorities, operational feasibility, and risk considerations.
