About the Role Join Scotiabank's Canadian Commercial Banking Growth team as a Client Relationship Manager (CRM). You will manage a portfolio of standard to moderate complexity clients, develop robust sales pipelines, and work with partners to deliver the full range of banking products and services, driving client primacy in assigned markets. The role focuses on growth within Canada, serving clients with annual sales between $5MM-$25MM and credit authorizations from $1MM-$5MM. What You'll Do
- Partner with Credit Solution Associate on credit portfolio for authorizations up to $5MM.
- Collaborate with Service team to ensure satisfactory onboarding of clients; these clients will be both borrowing (under $5MM) and non-borrowing.
- Manage borrowing clients (typically standard to moderate complexity financial solutions) and non-borrowing clients; contribute to portfolio growth in the assigned market.
- Develop robust sales pipelines, engage in client planning activities with partners, conduct sales calls, and qualify opportunities based on client needs and due diligence.
- Interact with internal partners including Global Transaction Banking, Business Banking, Retail, Wealth Management, Global Banking and Markets, Cash Management Contact Centre, and others as needed; may include Global Risk Management and Canadian Commercial Banking Executive Office.
- Promote development and profitable growth of the Canadian Commercial Banking portfolio in the assigned market area.
- Conduct sales planning, execute business development strategies, and build relationships with partners and both existing and new clients; work with credit team on initial analysis and completion of credit applications.

- Strong proven experience pursuing a business development program within an assigned market area.
- 2-4 years of experience in commercial banking and business development.
- Proven record of strong sales and closing skills.
- Strong market network and customer relationship capabilities.
- Top-notch negotiation skills.
- Good commercial credit skills.
- Strong knowledge of the bank's commercial lending and deposit products and services, and customer profitability model, to provide integrated financial solutions.
- Ability to travel within the assigned territory.
