As a Client Partner in our New England market, you'll work closely with leading Healthcare & Life Sciences organizations across the region, including healthcare providers, payers, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, and health technology companies. You will build deep, trusted relationships with senior stakeholders across business, technology, clinical, and operational functions. Staying closely connected to your clients' strategies, market dynamics, regulatory environment, and industry challenges, you'll proactively identify opportunities where Slalom can help solve complex problems and accelerate business outcomes.

Client Partners are accountable for both opportunity identification and the active leadership of delivery across their accounts, remaining deeply involved in execution and working closely with Slalom teams to drive strong client outcomes and long-term impact.

What You'll Do

  • A Client Partner builds and grows long-term relationships within enterprise Healthcare & Life Sciences accounts across the New England region, with a primary focus on the Greater Boston market. This role aligns to Slalom's Healthcare & Life Sciences industry, supporting organizations across providers, payers, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, and digital health sectors.

  • Primary responsibilities include representing Slalom's consulting and technology services within assigned accounts, setting strategic direction, driving delivery excellence, leading teams, and owning revenue growth and account health.

  • Serve as a trusted advisor, owning the full lifecycle from pursuit through delivery for Healthcare & Life Sciences engagements

  • Grow and deepen Slalom's footprint within assigned New England-based Healthcare & Life Sciences accounts

  • Partner with client executives to influence strategic business and technology direction and identify opportunities where Slalom can support enterprise-scale transformation initiatives

  • Maintain a utilization target of at least 40% while balancing client leadership and account growth

  • Own revenue responsibility of approximately $4-6M+ across assigned accounts

  • Identify opportunities to expand and mature Slalom offerings within Healthcare & Life Sciences organizations and help set the direction for that growth

  • Provide executive oversight and governance for sold and managed engagements

  • Drive business development efforts, including opportunity shaping, proposal development, SOW creation, and deal execution

  • Maintain strong awareness of Healthcare & Life Sciences industry trends, regulatory considerations, emerging technologies, and client-specific business drivers, while understanding how Slalom's practice areas integrate to deliver value

  • Oversee delivery quality and ensure consistent execution across complex, multi-workstream engagements

  • Support client satisfaction measurement and ongoing relationship health

  • What You'll Bring

  • 10+ years of experience in consulting or professional services, with a strong track record of growing and managing enterprise accounts

  • Deep experience leading engagements and teams across the full project lifecycle, with a focus on delivery excellence

  • Proven success managing executive-level client relationships within large, complex Healthcare & Life Sciences organizations

  • Experience working with healthcare providers, payers, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, or digital health organizations

  • Consulting experience within a professional services-focused environment

  • Strong background in enterprise-scale business and technology transformation programs

  • Prior experience being accountable for account financial performance, including achieving revenue and profitability targets

  • Excellent negotiation, conflict management, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

  • Understanding of the operational, regulatory, and technology complexities impacting Healthcare & Life Sciences organizations

  • Established network and market presence within the Greater Boston and New England Healthcare & Life Sciences ecosystem is strongly preferred

  • Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For this position, the base salary pay range for the Director level is $179,000 to $268,000. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
