Job Description

The Client Finance Manager is a key business partner responsible for overseeing the financial management of client accounts and supporting the overall financial performance of Biolumina Group LLC, an Omnicom Health agency.

This role will support forecasting, client SOW development, financial planning and analysis, billing and collections, and contractual compliance. The position requires both financial oversight and hands-on preparation of analyses, reconciliations, and reporting.

Primary Job Responsibilities

  • Manage the financial oversight of assigned client accounts, including revenue, forecasting, billing, collections, and financial reporting.
  • Prepare monthly client fee reconciliations, develop supporting materials, and lead or participate in monthly client financial meetings.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with client finance and procurement counterparts.
  • Partner with Account Management and Project Management teams to ensure purchase orders are received, accurate, and updated in a timely manner.
  • Support the development and financial review of client scopes of work and estimates.
  • Perform weekly rate reviews to ensure accuracy and compliance with client contractual requirements.
  • Review accounts receivable monthly and partner with internal and client stakeholders to support timely payment of outstanding balances.
  • Prepare quarterly client savings and efficiency reporting and supporting documentation.
  • Track and analyze team hours against contractual agreements, scopes, and staffing expectations to identify potential financial risks and opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with client contracts and maintain required financial documentation, including MSAs, approved scopes, purchase orders, signed estimates, and monthly fee reconciliations.
  • Review outstanding vendor purchase orders and expenses and partner with internal teams to ensure timely resolution.
  • Collaborate with the Shared Service Center to ensure monthly billing is accurate and completed no later than the 20th of each month.
  • Prepare financial reports, analyses, forecasts, and scenario modeling to support client and agency decision-making.
  • Lead financial discussions with Account Management and Project Management teams and provide guidance on client financial performance.
  • Train Account Management and Project Management team members on Biolumina financial processes and client-specific financial requirements.
  • Identify opportunities to strengthen financial processes, controls, reporting, and operational efficiencies.
  • Provide excellent service and financial support to internal teams, clients, and vendors.
  • Support ad hoc financial analyses, reporting, and special projects as requested by the CFO.

Qualifications and Experience

  • 4-6 years of relevant finance experience, preferably within advertising, marketing, professional services, or a related industry.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; an advanced degree or professional certification is a plus.

  • Financial management experience, including forecasting, budgeting, revenue management, financial analysis, and resource planning.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate financial information into actionable business insights.

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; proficiency in PowerPoint, Word, and other Microsoft Office applications.

  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally and build strong relationships across an organization.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with senior management, clients, and other business stakeholders.

  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Strong client service orientation and the ability to communicate financial concepts clearly to non-finance stakeholders.

  • Strong organizational, project management, and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and deadlines.

  • Sound business acumen, strategic thinking, and strong judgment.

  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to financial accuracy, compliance, and operational excellence.

  • Positive, collaborative approach with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced agency environment.

  • Ability to coach, train, and provide direction to other team members.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics AX R3 or similar financial systems is a plus.
