About the Role Valce Talent Solutions seeks a Client Engineer in Mexico City for a hybrid role to help design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications. The ideal candidate has 5 to 8 years of experience with strong Node.js expertise and proficiency in server-side languages (JavaScript, TypeScript, Python). What You'll Do
- Develop and maintain backend services using Node.js and related frameworks.
- Work with server-side programming languages such as JavaScript, TypeScript and Python.
- Apply a solid understanding of web application architecture and design patterns.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, participate in code reviews, and contribute to architecture decisions.
- Troubleshoot and fix critical web application issues, including after-hours on-call support.
- Maintain high-quality code with Git and participate in testing and deployments.
- Leverage front-end knowledge (CSS3, HTML5) as needed and stay up-to-date with web stacks.
- Communicate effectively in English and work with team members across locations.
- Be available for hybrid work arrangements in Mexico City and surrounding regions. What We're Looking For
- 5 to 8 years of software engineering experience.
- Strong experience with Node.js and related frameworks.
- Experience with server-side programming languages such as JavaScript, TypeScript and/or Python.
- Deep understanding of web application architecture and design patterns.
- Proficient with Git.
- Excellent problem solving and debugging abilities.
- Extensive understanding of web stacks, libraries, and frameworks, with emphasis on JavaScript.
- Front-end technologies including CSS3 and HTML5.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork abilities.
- Analytical mindset and strong problem solving capabilities.
- Excellent time and project management abilities.
- Availability after hours to fix critical web application problems.
- Advanced English.
- Candidates from Guadalajara (GDL), Monterrey (MTY), or Mexico City (Mx City) are welcome.
- Selenium is a must; the rest can be trained.
