Baker McKenzie Hong Kong is currently accepting applications from penultimate to final year qualifying law students for the 2027 Clerkship Programme / 2029 Traineeship.

- an introduction to our Firm and the type of work we do, both in Hong Kong and globally;

- a personally assigned partner and associate mentor in each rotation;

Our aim is to make your clerkship experience a genuine one. We will involve you in live work and invite you to attend client meetings and network with lawyers of all levels – Partners, Associates and Trainee Solicitors.

The Baker McKenzie Clerkship Programme is the main pathway into securing a training contract with the Firm, as Clerks who perform well during the Programme will be selected to join our Hong Kong office as Trainee Solicitors after they have completed their legal studies and their Postgraduate Certificate in Laws (PCLL). Participation is therefore mandatory for those seeking a 2029 training contract.
The 2027 Clerkship Programme will be running across the following dates:
- 31 May to 25 June 2027
- 28 June to 23 July 2027
