Cleared American Guard (CAG)

About the Role The Cape Fox Facilities Services is seeking a Cleared American Guard (CAG) to provide construction security guard services for DIA facilities under construction aboard Redstone Arsenal, AL. The CAG will help protect the Secure Construction Site (SCS) and Secure Storage Area (SSA) through access control, screening, and proactive security measures, in accordance with the Construction Site Plan (CSP) and SSM/SPM/CSP directives. A professional appearance, company uniform, and required PPE are expected.

What You'll Do

• Perform access control at all vehicle and pedestrian entrances to the SCS and SSA during hours of operations.
• Screen all workers, vehicles, and equipment entering or exiting the SCS/SSA in accordance with the CSP.
• Deny introduction of prohibited materials such as explosives, weapons, electronic devices, or other items as specified by the SSM, SPM, and CSP.
• Conduct random inspections of site areas to ensure no prohibited materials are present.
• Report or notify the SSM of suspicious materials or incidents.
• Monitor the Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV).
• Perform other security-related duties as required by the SSM, such as roving patrols and escorting personnel and/or vehicles.
• Support 24/7/365 operations to safeguard the SCS.
• Carry out opening and closing procedures of the SCS each day as directed by the SSM.
• Maintain a professional appearance and wear a company uniform with the company logo.
• Use PPE and complete safety training as required by the on-site GC.
• PPE includes hard hat, safety vest, safety glasses, footwear, and outerwear as appropriate for weather conditions.

What We're Looking For

• Cleared American Guard (CAG) with active security clearance.
• Ability to perform access control, screening, and materials control per CSP.
• Willingness to work on an on-site construction security detail and support 24/7 operations.
• Professional appearance and adherence to PPE requirements and safety training.
• Reliability and ability to report incidents and coordinate with the SSM/SPM.

Compensation & Benefits

• Total hourly pay: $32.93 per hour for up to 40 hours per week; comprised of base rate $28.00 + $4.93 Health & Welfare (H&W) per hour as required by SCLS.
