Job title: Cleared American Escort (CAE)
About the Role The Cleared American Escort (CAE) accompanies personnel operating in facility operations or other activities that do not have the necessary security clearances or access. The CAE ensures only personnel with a valid need to enter secure areas are registered and badged, notifies occupants before uncleared visitors enter, and helps prevent unauthorized disclosure of classified or sensitive information. Operations may include 24/7/365 coverage.
What You'll Do
- Escort personnel to secure work areas and verify appropriate clearance and badge status.
- Notify occupants prior to entry of uncleared visitors and minimize disruption.
- Wear the company uniform and maintain security discipline.
- Register un-cleared personnel on visitor rosters, turn on alerting mechanisms, and monitor access.
- Ensure that only authorized personnel enter secure and accredited areas.
- Support mission requirements with flexibility in work locations and 24/7/365 operations.
- Accept travel (0-10%) as required, and shift schedules up to 40 hours per week without premium pay.
What We're Looking For
- Active, TS/SCI security clearance; must have or agree to take a Counterintelligence Polygraph prior to starting.
- 2-4 years of experience in areas requiring TS/SCI clearance.
- Knowledge of IC and DoD classification guidelines and ICD/ICS-705.
- Knowledge of cleared American escort procedures (clearances reviews, SCI access) and DIA security policies, prohibited items, and reportable incidents.
- Ability to work occasional night and weekend shifts as required by the customer.
- Travel requirements: 0-10%.
