About the Role Volt is hiring Clean Room Assemblers for a busy manufacturer in Camarillo, CA. This role supports maintaining a sterile cleanroom environment and assembling products to specifications while following cGMP guidelines.
What You'll Do
- Maintain a sterile cleanroom environment by following cGMP guidelines, including proper garbing and cleaning procedures.
- Measure, cut, position, and align tubing and small components for assembly.
- Assemble products and components according to specifications, drawings, and work instructions.
- Use hand tools such as cable guns, tubing cutters, bag sealers, and other assembly equipment.
- Read and interpret technical documents, blueprints, and diagrams; interpret Bills of Materials (BOMs).
- Determine proper sequence of assembly steps.
- Clean work surfaces and equipment; inspect components and finished products for quality and accuracy.
- Complete required documentation for lot and batch records.
- Report defects, malfunctions, or issues to the supervisor.
- Meet daily production goals while maintaining quality standards.
- Follow all safety procedures, SOPs, and company policies.
What We're Looking For
- Previous assembly experience required.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
- Strong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to follow directions and ask for clarification when needed.
- Experience completing production documentation, including batch and lot records.
Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly pay: $20-$22 USD.
- Shift: 2nd Shift, 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM (30-minute meal break).
