Job title: Classroom Organizer (Cabrini or Main Campus)
About the Role The Classroom Student Worker (CSW) is a campus-based role responsible for setting up and maintaining classrooms at the start of each day. CSWs ensure furnishings, amenities, and classroom technology are in good order and ready for instruction each morning, under the supervision of the Classroom Manager.
What You'll Do
- Reset academic spaces to be ready for faculty prior to classes (7:00 AM – 9:00 AM).
- Ensure cleanliness of spaces, including wiping/erasing whiteboards and tidying furnishings as needed.
- Ensure trash receptacles are empty and the room is presentable; request custodial assistance if needed.
- Restock classroom amenities (whiteboard markers, erasers, etc.).
- Report repair or maintenance needs in academic spaces.
- Access a central supply inventory and replenish classrooms; advise on replenishment needs.
- May take on additional duties to accommodate the position.
What We're Looking For
- Open to all Villanova students; daily commitment 7:00 AM–9:00 AM at assigned classrooms.
- Work-study preferred but open to all students.
- Reliable daily attendance; report to assigned building(s).
- Ability to keep classrooms clean, presentable, and orderly; ensure amenities are available.
- Effective communication with the Classroom Manager regarding furniture, custodial, or maintenance issues.
- Physical ability to perform minimal lifting and occasional moving of furnishings; substantial walking.
Compensation & Benefits
- Wage Rate: $10.00/hour.
