About the Role Queensway Infant and Junior Academies in Thetford, Norfolk are seeking an enthusiastic Classroom Assistant and Breakfast Club Worker to support pupils across the school under guidance from teaching staff. This role combines classroom support with duties at the busy breakfast club to help pupils access learning and settle into the school day. What You'll Do
- Support Year 6 pupils under the instruction/guidance of teaching/senior staff.
- Undertake care and learning programmes and activities to support individuals or groups of pupils, including more specialised support for those with SEND or EAL.
- Perform assessments and implement speech and language interventions.
- Enable access to learning for pupils and assist the teacher in the management of pupils and the classroom.
- Work at our busy, successful breakfast club. What We're Looking For
- Enthusiastic and inspiring Classroom Assistant with the ability to support pupils, including those with SEND or EAL.
- Ability to work across Queensway Infant Academy and Queensway Junior Academy in Thetford, Norfolk.
- Willingness to work part-time: 21 hours per week over 3 days (Mon–Wed preferred). Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: £12,308 to £12,501 pro-rata per annum (Actual) (£24,796 - £25,185 full time/full year equivalent).
- Working pattern: Part Time: 21 hours per week over 3 days; 39 weeks per year.
