About the Role This position is a substitute educational support role covering various classifications (educational assistant, secretarial, custodian, food service, etc.) within the Nestucca Valley School District. Substitutes are expected to perform the duties of assigned district staff when others are unavailable, and to follow the school's instructions and policies. What You'll Do
- Work harmoniously with and communicate effectively with students, parents and staff
- Understand and follow oral and written instructions
- Patrol halls, cafeteria, lavatories and supervise students outdoors while loading and unloading buses and on the playground during recess as assigned
- Remain in assigned classroom until all students have been dismissed for the day
- Assist with students requiring total care (i.e. feeding, lifting, toileting, cleaning)
