About the Role Safety-Kleen/Clean Harbors is seeking a Class B Route Driver to provide onsite service for parts washer machines, pickup containerized hazardous waste, and upsell products/services along a defined route. The role involves visiting customer sites and carrying out routine servicing while maintaining safety and regulatory compliance. What You'll Do
- May visit 10-12 customer sites per day.
- Switch out 15- & 30-gallon drums of solutions.
- Service parts washer machines and clean sediment from sinks.
- Upsell at customer locations and generate new leads in the field.
- Service automotive repair, fleets, and manufacturing-type businesses.
- Complete daily scheduled services, deliveries, and pickups in a timely manner.
- Follow all local, state (provincial) and federal regulations and rules.
- Safely operate vehicles in accordance with U.S. DOT and other requirements.
- Observe company environmental, health and safety guidelines.
- Perform other duties as assigned. What We're Looking For
- Class B CDL.
- Obtain Hazmat and Tanker endorsement within 90 days of employment.
- Basic computer and math skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Successful completion of a background check, drug test, and physical, as required by position.
- Per OSHA’s Respiratory Protection standard (29 CFR 1910.134), comply with facial hair standards for respirator-required positions. Nice to Have
- Strong customer service skills.
- Commercial route driving experience (Class C or Non-CDL). Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour, BOE.
