About the Role Zuern Building Products is seeking Class B-CDL Drivers to join our Allenton team. This role supports product delivery and warehouse operations to ensure safe, accurate handling of building materials. Ideal candidate is motivated, self-starting, with a strong work ethic, and able to perform manual labor when needed.
What You'll Do
- Follow all Federal and State Regulations on CDL licenses.
- Load vehicles for delivery and assist with unloading and safe drop-offs (including sales and returns).
- Perform tie-down inspections before leaving the yard.
- Navigate routes using maps and maintain a good sense of direction; handle traffic and varying weather conditions.
- Operate forklift and moffet equipment; forklift certification required.
- Check invoices for load accuracy and assist with loading customer orders for pickup when necessary.
- Help maintain cleanliness of facility, equipment, inventory, buildings, and yard.
- Adhere to safety procedures at all times and work as part of a team.
- Perform other duties as requested by management.
What We're Looking For
- Current Class B CDL with a clean driving record.
- 2+ years of industry experience.
- Strong verbal communication and excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to repetitively lift up to 35 pounds, with 70 pounds occasional, plus ability to bend and twist.
- Basic reading, writing, and math comprehension.
- Self-motivated and eager to join a growing, dynamic company.
