Job title: Class A/B Delivery Driver
About the Role A Class B CDL Driver will be responsible for delivering, stacking, and tracking products. The role requires a valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License, a clean driving record, and compliance with DOT requirements.
What You'll Do
- Deliver and unload freight to customers and facilities
- Load and unload freight on/off trailers; lift freight and other objects of various shapes, sizes and weights (up to 50 lbs frequently and greater than 75 lbs occasionally)
- Inspect and maintain the vehicle and report any defects
- Thoroughly match invoices to orders to prevent any shorts
- Provide customers with exceptional service
- Perform vehicle inspections as required under FMCSA regulations (section 396.13)
- Maintain a current Class A or B CDL
- Maintain safe operation of all company equipment
- Be flexible with shifts (Day, Night, Weekend)
- Perform other duties as assigned
What We're Looking For
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License
- Safe driving record and history
- Pass DOT drug test and have an up-to-date Medical Certificate
- Ability to lift up to 75+ lbs (frequently up to 50 lbs; occasionally greater than 75 lbs)
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $48,000 - $75,000 per year
- PTO after 3 months of employment; Paid Vacation and Holidays
- Retention Bonus: $1,100 potential in the first year based on attendance & safety
