About the Role
Kwik Trip is seeking a Class A CDL Fuel Truck Driver to deliver petroleum products to our Kwik Trip store locations near St. Cloud, MN. The role is home daily with an overnight schedule in the Saint Cloud area, and offers a sign-on bonus up to $10,000 plus strong incentive opportunities and comprehensive benefits.
What You'll Do
- Safely operate a Class A CDL tractor/trailer with tanker and hazardous materials endorsements to deliver petroleum products to Kwik Trip stores on time.
- Maintain on-time deliveries, log miles, and adhere to shift schedules; be home at the end of each shift.
- Follow spill prevention/minimization techniques and regulatory requirements; operate with electronic logging and satellite communications; support our in-house Truck Maintenance Shop as needed.
- Load/unload using computerized loading systems; perform basic math and accurately complete invoice paperwork.
- Provide high level of customer service; work well with others; operate with minimal supervision; maintain a safe driving record.
- Be prepared to work in varied temperatures and weather conditions; comply with safety requirements and company policies.
- What We're Looking For
- Class A CDL with combination vehicle, air brakes, general, tanker and hazardous materials endorsements.
- At least 2 years of Class A CDL tractor/trailer experience; good driving record.
- Strong customer service, detail-oriented, and math aptitude; ability to learn spill prevention and cleanup techniques; accurate in paperwork.
- Ability to work with computerized loading systems; teamwork and ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Must be at least 21 years old; residency within 60 minutes and 60 miles of St. Cloud, MN home base; safety-conscious and able to work in various temperatures and weather.
- Physical requirements: sit up to 6 hours; stand up to 1 hour; lift/carry up to 50 lbs; push/pull up to 62 lbs.
- Compensation & Benefits
- Annual average salary around $101,000 including up to $9,400 in safety/performance bonuses; base pay range $70,000 - $139,000; 40% profit sharing and a sign-on bonus up to $10,000.
