Job title: Class A Bulk Tanker Driver

About the Role The Class A Bulk Tanker Driver will deliver industrial gases to Linde customer sites via tractor-trailer tankers. You will safely transport gases such as liquid nitrogen, liquid oxygen, liquid argon, CO2, and hydrogen, while complying with safety standards, laws, and company policies. Some deliveries may involve government facilities requiring enhanced background checks and safety protocols.

What You'll Do

  • Conduct and report pre-trip and post-trip inspections
  • Trailer coupling and uncoupling (drop and hook) when needed
  • Connect and disconnect transfer hoses, ensuring secure couplings and proper handling of cryogenic tanks, hoses, and fittings
  • Monitor pressure levels and temperature readings during delivery to ensure safe unloading
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols during loading, unloading, and handling of cryogenic gases
  • Ensure hazardous material shipping papers are in accordance with DOT regulations
  • Maintain accurate shipping documentation, logbooks, and records in compliance with DOT and company policies
  • Identify need for timely vehicle repairs and/or maintenance
  • Maintain a professional partnership with internal and external customers to meet goals and objectives of the business and customer needs
  • Continuously build knowledge on how Linde’s business operates and succeeds to help the organization grow
  • Other duties as assigned

What We're Looking For

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED is required
  • Experience: Minimum two years verifiable tanker trailer experience; three years tractor trailer driving experience will be considered
  • Previous cryogenics or carbon dioxide experience a plus
  • Tanker and Hazmat endorsements required
  • Ability to work a 24/7 operation with bid schedules including days, afternoons, nights, weekends and holidays; local home daily
  • Willingness to undergo background checks and heightened security protocols for certain facilities

  • Previous cryogenics or carbon dioxide experience a plus
