Job title: Class A Bulk Tanker Driver
About the Role The Class A Bulk Tanker Driver will deliver industrial gases to Linde customer sites via tractor-trailer tankers in a safety-first operation, with home daily schedules and potential government facility deliveries requiring heightened security clearances.
What You'll Do
- Conduct and report pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Trailer coupling and uncoupling (drop and hook) when needed
- Connect and disconnect transfer hoses, ensuring secure couplings and proper handling of cryogenic tanks, hoses, and fittings
- Monitor pressure levels and temperature readings during delivery to ensure safe unloading
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols during loading, unloading, and handling of cryogenic gases
- Ensure hazardous material shipping papers are in accordance with DOT regulations
- Maintain accurate shipping documentation, logbooks, and records in compliance with DOT and company policies
- Identify need for timely vehicle repairs and/or maintenance
- Maintain a professional partnership with internal and external customers to meet goals and objectives of the business and customer needs
- Continuously build your knowledge on how Linde’s business operates to help the organization grow
- Other duties as assigned
What We're Looking For
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 3 years tractor-trailer and/or 2 years tanker experience
- Ability to obtain hazmat and tanker endorsements before start date
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $103,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
- Home daily; multiple schedules available; paid weekly via direct deposit
