About the Role The Class A Bulk Tanker Driver will deliver industrial gases to Linde customer sites using tractor-trailer tankers. This local home-daily role supports Linde’s logistics operation with a focus on safety and compliance when transporting cryogenic gases such as liquid nitrogen, liquid oxygen, liquid argon, CO2, and hydrogen. Some deliveries may involve government facilities requiring enhanced background checks and security protocols.

What You'll Do

• Conduct and report pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Trailer coupling and uncoupling (drop and hook) when needed
• Connect and disconnect transfer hoses, ensuring secure couplings and proper handling of cryogenic tanks, hoses, and fittings.
• Monitor pressure levels and temperature readings during delivery to ensure safe unloading
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols during loading, unloading, and handling of cryogenic gases.
• Ensure hazardous material shipping orders/papers are in accordance with DOT regulations
• Maintain accurate shipping documentation, logbooks, and records in compliance with DOT and company policies.
• Identify need for timely vehicle repairs and/or maintenance
• Maintain a professional partnership with internal and external customers to meet goals and objectives of the business and customer needs
• Continuously building your knowledge on how Linde’s business operates and succeeds to help organization to continue growing
• Other duties as assigned

What We're Looking For

• Education: High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Experience: Minimum three years tractor-trailer driving experience and/or two years verifiable tanker trailer experience.
• Strong safety orientation, attention to detail, and ability to adhere to company protocols related to cryogenic transportation.
• Familiarity with DOT regulations, hazardous materials shipping papers, and basic documentation.
• Ability to maintain professional relationships with customers and collaborate across teams.
• Valid Class A CDL with appropriate endorsements; willingness to comply with background checks as needed for government facility deliveries.

Nice to Have

• Aptitude for safety-minded operations and continuous learning about Linde’s business operations.
• Experience with cryogenic or pressurized gas transport is a plus.
