About the Role The Driver is responsible for the safe transportation and delivery of gas cylinders to customers in Saint-Hubert, QC. You will ensure compliance with TDG/WHMIS regulations and maintain accurate shipping documentation while supporting safe vehicle operations. What You'll Do
- Load and unload cylinders, count and record quantities and styles to ensure loads match shipping documents.
- Check and placard vehicle according to Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) regulations.
- Follow operating and safety procedures; complete shipping orders and related paperwork.
- Complete trip reports, fuel tickets, and other required reports.
- Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections and report any defects to the supervisor.
- Identify repair/maintenance needs and coordinate with maintenance to minimize disruption to operations. What We're Looking For
- Minimum of two (2) years of AZ/DZ/Class 1 or Class 3 driving experience.
- Valid provincial Driver's License with air brake endorsement; incident-free record.
- Ability to handle various cylinder sizes and weights.
- Knowledge of compressed gases and safe handling.
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds.
- TDG and WHMIS training.
