Contractor Connect - Claims Technical Assistant
We are looking for a detail-focused Claims Technical Assistant to support office operations and claims-related administrative work in Kapolei, HI. This Long-term Contract position is well suited for someone who can manage documentation, coordinate workflow activities, and help keep claim handling processes organized and efficient. The ideal candidate brings strong administrative judgment, accuracy in recordkeeping, and the ability to work across hiring and claim administration tasks in a fast-paced environment. Due to the nature of the work and onsite requirements, preference will be given to Hawaii residents. Applicants should be able to reliably commute or reside within the region to meet business needs.
Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day administrative support for claims activities, ensuring records, correspondence, and internal documentation are maintained accurately.
- Coordinate claim-related paperwork and track status updates so teams have timely and organized information for follow-up actions.
- Assist with office management duties, including scheduling, file organization, and communication support across internal stakeholders.
- Support hiring-related administrative processes by preparing materials, maintaining applicant records, and helping facilitate workflow coordination.
- Review incoming documents for completeness and route items to the appropriate contacts to keep claims processing moving efficiently.
- Maintain data entry and reporting tasks with a high level of accuracy while following established procedures and service expectations.
- Communicate with team members and business partners to clarify information, resolve routine issues, and support smooth daily operations.
- Experience supporting administrative, office coordination, or operational functions in a detail-focused setting.
- Working knowledge of claim administration processes or related documentation workflows.
- Familiarity with hiring process support, including record maintenance and coordination of routine recruiting activities.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain attention to detail.
- Proficiency with standard office software and digital file management systems.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills for interacting with internal teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently, follow procedures, and handle confidential information responsibly.
