Job title: Claims Expert Real Estate (m/w/d)
About the Role In the Corporate Risk and Broking business, we help clients manage risk and insurance by developing robust and economical strategies for risk avoidance and, where sensible, transferring risk to insurers. We are seeking a Claims Expert Real Estate (m/w/d) in Frankfurt to ensure excellent customer satisfaction through outstanding claims handling.
What You'll Do
- Operate end-to-end claims handling from initial notification to settlement, including international cases
- Analyze claim profitability and identify loss-prevention opportunities
- Propose solutions to reduce claims and advise on risk management with clients
- Conduct risk and claims assessment and provide client guidance on technical matters and settlement
- Support major claims, including on-site inspections when needed
- Create and review claims records and process settlement
- Provide optimal client data for efficiency and profitability calculations
- Monitor claim ratios and conduct claim controlling
- Collaborate with projects, specialist committees, client care and internal departments
- Participate in discussions with clients, insurers and loss adjusters
What We're Looking For
- Completed apprenticeship as an insurance and finance clerk
- Knowledge of the insurance market and lines (especially property, transport and liability)
- Professional handling of internal and external clients; strong teamwork and initiative
- Excellent process understanding with a structured and analytical mindset
- Good English language skills (speaking and writing) and strong MS Office skills (Excel, Word)
