Location

Sacramento, CA | Full-Time, On-Site

Join our Sacramento office and enjoy working closely with a team of experienced litigators. This is an in-person opportunity offering direct collaboration, mentorship, and hands-on involvement in active cases.

Note

Candidates must be actively licensed to practice law in California, have 1+ years of civil litigation experience, and have hands-on experience drafting litigation pleadings or motions and handling written discovery. We welcome both newer and experienced attorneys who are comfortable working on-site in Sacramento.

Job Description

• Handle substantive civil litigation matters from initial case evaluation through resolution.
• Research legal issues and develop effective litigation strategies.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and responses.
• Participate in depositions, hearings, mediations, and settlement discussions.
• Assist with trial preparation, courtroom proceedings, and second-chair trial opportunities.
• Collaborate with experienced attorneys on complex civil defense cases, including public entity matters.
• Take on increasing case responsibility while strengthening your litigation and advocacy skills.

Qualifications

• Active California Bar license in good standing.

• 1+ years of civil litigation experience; more senior attorneys are encouraged to apply.

• Experience drafting motions or pleadings and managing written discovery.

• Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and communication skills.

• Interest in hands-on litigation, professional growth, and client advocacy.

• Insurance defense or public entity defense experience is a plus, not required.

• Candidates from law firms, solo practices, and in-house backgrounds are welcome.
