Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Civil Litigation Attorney who enjoys solving complex legal challenges, advocating for clients, and taking ownership of their work.
- Manage civil litigation cases from initial consultation through resolution.
- Draft pleadings, motions, legal briefs, and other litigation documents.
- Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, negotiations, and settlement discussions.
- Handle discovery, legal research, and case strategy development.
- Advise individuals and businesses on litigation matters and legal disputes.
- Collaborate with paralegals and support staff to deliver outstanding results.
- Maintain organized case files, deadlines, and accurate billable time records.
Qualifications
- Active New Jersey Bar license required; Pennsylvania Bar admission preferred.
- 5+ years of civil litigation experience.
- Experience independently managing litigation cases, drafting motions, and handling discovery.
- Strong legal research, writing, negotiation, and courtroom skills.
- Experience tracking billable hours and managing deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills and a client-focused approach.
- Experience in commercial litigation, real estate disputes, contract law, or related civil matters is a plus.
