Civil Inspector, ANS Health & Public Service - Transit

About the Role You will provide inspection and quality assurance on highway and roadway construction projects to ensure work complies with plans and specifications. This onsite role at client locations supports delivery and client relationships within Accenture Infrastructure & Capital Projects. What You'll Do

• Provide inspection and quality assurance on highway and roadway construction projects.
• Determine whether completed work complies with plans, specifications, and special provisions.
• Coordinate work with the contractor and various public utility agencies.
• Maintain records and reports related to the project.
• Coordinate directly with the general contractor and negotiate change orders.
• Assist in inspections to ensure compliance with contract plans, specifications, and provisions.
• Assist in preparing contract change orders, contract estimates, progress pay estimates, and other required project documents or reports.
• Coordinate sampling and testing of construction materials to monitor compliance with contract specifications.
• Monitor and track contractor progress.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports as required.
• Onsite at client site: This role is onsite with clients and partners to enable delivery and cultivate client relationships. What We're Looking For
• Graduation from a four-year ABET-accredited civil engineering program, or a valid EIT certification; or a Master's/Doctorate in civil engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• Minimum two (2) years’ experience in roadway construction inspection of highways or major public works projects. Nice to Have
• Knowledge of Caltrans standards
• Knowledge of the physical characteristics and properties of roadway construction materials including concrete and steel Compensation & Benefits
• Salary: $126,000 - $150,000 per year
• Location: Los Angeles, CA; onsite work with client sites
