Job Title: Civil Engineering IT or Entry Level Student

Locations: Lekki, Ikoyi and Banana Island axis - Lagos

Engagement: Industrial Training (IT/SIWES)

Job Summary

• Midela Luxury Homes Limited is offering an Industrial Training (IT) and Entry Level opportunity for Civil Engineering students who are interested in gaining practical experience in real estate development and building construction.
• The successful students will gain hands-on exposure to active construction projects and work alongside experienced Engineers, Site Supervisors, Foremen, and other construction professionals.

Responsibilities / Learning Opportunities

• Assist Engineers and site teams with daily construction activities.
• Participate in site inspections and monitoring of ongoing works.
• Gain practical exposure to concrete, reinforcement, formwork, blockwork, foundations, and other construction activities.
• Assist with measurements, setting out, and basic site documentation.
• Observe and support quality-control checks on construction works.
• Assist with preparation of daily site reports and project documentation.
• Learn how construction drawings and specifications are interpreted and implemented on site.
• Work with site teams to monitor progress and identify construction issues.
• Participate in practical site activities under appropriate supervision.
• Comply with all site safety and HSEQ requirements.
• Perform other learning-related duties assigned by the supervising Engineer or Management.

Requirements

• Currently studying or recently completed Civil Engineering course at a recognised university or polytechnic.
• Must require Industrial Training (IT/SIWES) as part of their academic programme or open for an entry level role.
• Strong interest in building construction and site engineering.
• Willingness to learn and gain practical experience.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Must be willing to work on active construction sites in Lagos.
• Previous construction/site experience is an advantage but not required.
