AECOM is seeking for a Civil Engineering I for employment in our Conshohocken, PA,office.

responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, those listed below:

Performing geotechnical tasks to meet the project needs:

Field Monitoring of test borings, test pits & CPT’s

Construction Monitoring of deep foundations (driven and drilled piles) and earthworks

Inputting boring logs in gINT

Adhere to AECOM safety culture and maintaining safe work environment

Assigning geotechnical laboratory testing

Perform design calculations for shallow and deep foundations and retaining walls

Perform settlement analysis and slope stability analyses

Provide geotechnical report support

Qualifications

• Minimum Requirements

• B.S. in Civil Engineering or related field or demonstrated equivalency of education and/or experience.

• Valid US Driver’s License required to visit project sites, clients, and other AECOM offices. As a condition of employment, selected candidate must pass a Motor Vehicle Records review.

• Ability to pass client screenings and assessments as required

• Preferred Requirements

• EIT or FE Certification is preferred

• Basic understanding of the concepts of soil mechanics

• Experience in the field and office.

• Field work may be from 30 to 70 percent for first 3 years

• Ability to work in inclement weather

• Ability to lift 50 lbs

• Strong written and oral communication, quantitative and interpersonal skills

• Offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The range for this position is $69000 to $85000.
