Orion Placement
As a Civil Engineer – Land Development, you'll play an important role in bringing site development projects from concept through design and implementation. Your responsibilities will include:
- Design civil engineering plans for residential, commercial, and land development projects.
- Develop site grading, drainage, stormwater management (SWM), and roadway designs.
- Use AutoCAD Civil 3D to prepare detailed engineering drawings, plans, and technical documentation.
- Perform engineering calculations and support site design and infrastructure planning.
- Collaborate with engineers, surveyors, planners, and project teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Support permitting, agency coordination, and regulatory compliance throughout the design process.
- Help solve challenging engineering problems while keeping projects moving forward.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of civil engineering experience in land development or site design.
- EIT certification required; PE license preferred.
- Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Working knowledge of stormwater management, site grading, drainage, and roadway design.
- Civil engineering educational or technical background.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage responsibilities and contribute to multiple projects.
