Job title: Civil Engineer - Bridges and Structures
About the Role Join IDOM as a Civil Engineer specializing in bridges and structures within the Infrastructure team. The role is based in our Bilbao or Madrid offices (Spain) and involves contributing to national and international projects in a multidisciplinary environment with support to grow your skills.
What You'll Do
- Contribute to the design and development of civil engineering structures, with emphasis on bridges and related structures.
- Join the Infrastructure team and work on national and international projects from our Bilbao or Madrid offices.
- Apply BIM workflows and leverage the latest technologies and best practices in engineering.
- Collaborate in a multidisciplinary environment to push professional boundaries and continuously develop your skills, with a pathway toward partnership.
What We're Looking For
- University degree in Civil Engineering or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, specializing in structures.
- At least 8 years of experience in the development of civil engineering structures with proven experience in bridge design.
- Extensive knowledge of applicable regulations (national and international), such as AASHTO and Eurocodes.
- Proficiency in BIM.
- Ability to work independently with an innovative mindset.
- Advanced level of English.
- Interest in joining a multinational company like IDOM.
