About the Role

• We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Civil Engineer to join our team.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing civil works, ensuring structural and infrastructural projects are executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with approved designs, specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise civil engineering works and projects.
• Review architectural, structural, and engineering drawings to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Supervise contractors and site activities to ensure work is completed according to approved specifications, drawings, and timelines.
• Conduct regular site inspections and identify defects, construction issues, and maintenance requirements.
• Prepare and review project estimates, bills of quantities, material requirements, and work schedules.
• Monitor the quality of construction materials and workmanship.
• Coordinate repairs, renovations, structural maintenance, drainage, paving, concrete works, and other civil works.
• Ensure compliance with relevant building codes, health and safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Liaise with contractors, consultants, suppliers, project managers, and other stakeholders.
• Prepare progress reports, inspection reports, and other technical documentation.
• Monitor project costs and support effective budget management.
• Identify potential project risks and recommend appropriate corrective measures.
• Provide technical advice on civil and structural maintenance issues.
• Ensure proper documentation and maintenance of project records.
• Support the development and implementation of engineering SOPs and maintenance standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• 3 - 5 years of relevant experience in civil engineering, construction, property management, or facility management.
• Professional certification/registration with COREN will be an added advantage.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and civil engineering principles.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and relevant engineering/project management software.
• Good knowledge of health, safety, and environmental requirements.
• Strong project supervision and contractor management skills.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects or tasks.
