About the Role Civil Construction Work Lead to manage the civil construction business unit, planning, designing, and overseeing infrastructure project delivery within the Nestoil Group. What You'll Do
- Lead and manage large-scale infrastructure projects, ensuring timely completion, budget adherence, and quality standards.
- Drive business opportunity development and closure, ensuring smooth operation of the business.
- Develop and implement designs for infrastructure projects such as roads, bridges, buildings, and water treatment systems.
- Supervise and mentor junior engineers, technicians, and construction personnel.
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, and government agencies to meet project requirements.
- Identify and mitigate risks to ensure project safety and minimize delays.
- Provide technical guidance and support on complex engineering projects.
- Ensure projects meet quality standards and comply with codes and regulations.
- Develop and manage project budgets, track expenses, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Create and manage project schedules to ensure timely completion.
- Prepare and submit progress reports on project status and outcomes. What We're Looking For
- Degree in Civil Engineering.
- Masters in Structural Engineering (advantage).
- Minimum of 15 years post-qualification relevant experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Membership of COREN, NSE, etc.
- Project Management Certification.
- Experience in reputable construction companies or project-based organizations.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Patience, decisiveness, resourcefulness, and meticulousness.
