Job title: CIT Driver (CVIT Operative)
About the Role We are currently seeking a friendly and reliable CIT (Cash-in-Transit) Driver to join our dedicated operations team in the United Kingdom. You will securely transport cash between customer locations across UK regions, operating on a fixed 4 on 4 off rota with variable early starts. The role emphasizes safety, attention to detail, and independent work.
What You'll Do
- Safely and efficiently transport cash, coins, and other valuables to and from designated customer locations, replenishing ATMs as required
- Follow established procedures to ensure security of assets in transit
- Inspect and maintain vehicle condition; report issues promptly
- Adhere to traffic regulations and company policies to promote safe driving at all times
- Maintain accurate records of each transaction, including cash amount and location details
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and clients to ensure smooth deliveries
- Handle unforeseen situations professionally with minimal disruption to schedules
What We're Looking For
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (preferred)
- Previous experience in security/SIA role is preferred but not essential
- Excellent knowledge of road safety regulations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift heavy objects and maneuver in small spaces
- Flexibility to work on weekends and holidays as needed
- No live CCJs, IVAs, or bankruptcy declarations
Nice to Have
- Willingness to undergo SIA CViT training and obtain the CViT license (training provided)
