Circuit Designer (Analog/Mixed-Signal)

Western Digital

About this role

Job title: Circuit Designer (Analog/Mixed-Signal)

About the Role We are seeking a Circuit Designer to design high-performance analog and mixed-signal circuit blocks. The role involves translating ideas into transistor-level, block-level and module-level architectures, performing design, simulation, optimization, layout supervision and verification, and coordinating product characterization, reliability and yield modeling, and bench-to-test correlation. Strong communication skills and a track record of circuit innovation are essential to succeed in cross-functional teams.

What You'll Do

  • Design high performance analog and mixed-signal circuit blocks.
  • Perform transistor-level, block-level and module-level circuit architecture, design, simulation, optimization, and layout supervision and verification.
  • Prepare test plans for the test group; participate in product characterization, reliability and yield assessment and modeling.
  • Conduct simulations for bench-to-test correlation and bench evaluation at silicon and applications levels.
  • Document results and communicate findings across cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication; contribute to circuit innovation.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience designing analog and mixed-signal circuit blocks with strong transistor-, block-, and module-level design skills.
  • Proficiency in circuit simulation, characterization, layout supervision, and verification.
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels and with cross-functional groups.
  • Demonstrated track record of circuit innovation and strong written/verbal communication skills.
