Summary
Under the general direction of Practice Leadership and with clinical guidance from Clinical Management, the Ambulatory Clinical Leader serves as a clinical and administrative leader within the ambulatory care setting. This shared leadership role is structured as 50% administrative and 50% direct clinical care, balancing patient care responsibilities with leadership, coaching, and practice management activities. Depending on the assigned department or service line, direct clinical care responsibilities may be delivered through in-person patient care or through remote nursing services, including telephone triage, electronic patient communication, desktop clinical assessment, and care coordination within the Registered Nurse scope of practice.
