About the Role
- We are seeking a fluent and detail-oriented Chinese Translator to join our team.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing accurate written and verbal translation between Mandarin Chinese and English, facilitating effective communication between our local team and Chinese partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate written documents, emails, reports, contracts, and other business materials between Mandarin Chinese and English.
- Provide real-time interpretation during meetings, training sessions, and business discussions.
- Facilitate effective communication between Chinese-speaking stakeholders and local teams.
- Ensure translations are accurate, culturally appropriate, and maintain the intended meaning.
- Assist with communication relating to vehicle specifications, technical documents, and operational processes.
- Support cross-functional teams with language-related tasks as required.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive business information.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 2–4 years’ experience as a Chinese Translator or Interpreter.
- Previous experience working in a corporate business environment is required.
- Fluency in both Mandarin Chinese and English (spoken and written) is required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Experience in the automobile industry is an added advantage.
Salary
N700,000 - N800,000 monthly.
