Childrens Complex Care Assistant

Location: Farthinghoe, Brackley

Pay: £13.50 per hour

Shifts: Waking nights - 9:30pm - 7:30am

Driver: Preferred - A full valid UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle, due to the geographical location of the role and lack of public transport in the local area.

What you’ll do

  • We are seeking a compassionate Complex Care Assistant with experience working with children to support a young client who lives at home with their mum and dad.

  • The client has epilepsy and experiences seizures, so experience in managing these conditions would be very advantageous.

  • This role requires patience, understanding and excellent communication skills to provide high-quality, person-centred care within a supportive family environment.

The key tasks with this role include:

  • Personal care
  • Seizure management
  • Observations through the night

Qualifications

  • What we’re looking for:

  • You don’t need complex care experience to apply for this role as this is a fantastic opportunity to grow your skills and become part of a team that makes a real difference. Experience with children would be beneficial.

  • A full valid UK driver licence and access to your own vehicle would be preferred due to the geographical location of the role and lack of public transport in the local area.
