About the Role
The College of Nursing at California Baptist University invites applications for a full-time tenure-track position in the area of Childbearing / Obstetrics or Childrearing / Pediatrics nursing. The role supports teaching, scholarship, and service in alignment with the university's Christian mission.
What You'll Do
Primary responsibilities include classroom and practicum teaching in the nursing programs. Participate in course and program development, implementation, and evaluation. Make site visits to healthcare agencies hosting practicum sites to assess and evaluate curriculum and teaching/learning activities in accordance with accreditation and state regulatory standards and requirements.
What We're Looking For
A master’s or higher degree in nursing and demonstrated teaching experience in a registered nurse program. Candidates must be able to function at the level of a staff RN in the designated nursing area(s). Direct patient care experience in the previous five years and a minimum of one year direct patient care experience in the designated nursing area. Unencumbered California registered nurse license. Doctoral degree in the field indicated is preferred; candidates with a master’s degree who are progressing toward a terminal degree may be considered.

Doctoral degree preferred; clinical/teaching expertise in obstetrics or pediatrics nursing; commitment to integrating faith and learning.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary range: $90,000 – $105,000 annually. In addition to wages, California Baptist University offers a robust suite of employee benefits.
