About the Role Join One Safe Place Macon as the Child & Family Services Coordinator to support Camp HOPE Central Georgia, Pathways, and child- and family-focused initiatives within the Family Justice Center. This on-site role coordinates programming, supports families, and fosters collaborations with community partners. The position is funded by Byrne Discretionary funds through the Office for Victims of Crime (OVC). What You'll Do
- Coordinate and support Camp HOPE Central Georgia and Pathways programming, and related child and family initiatives within One Safe Place Macon.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for Camp HOPE and Pathways families; recruit, enroll, and retain campers and mentoring participants; maintain regular communication with families.
- Manage volunteer recruitment, onboarding, training, and appreciation events; maintain volunteer records and compliance.
- Assist with program planning and implementation; develop and implement policies and procedures for child and family services; coordinate referrals and onboarding.
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and program documentation; support leadership in developing policies, procedures, and operational practices.
- Participate in community meetings, outreach activities, and partnership events; foster positive relationships with community partners and collaborative agencies.
- Coordinate camper registration, logistics, and communications; participate in annual Camp HOPE overnight experience and other events.
- Support referral coordination and participant onboarding for Camp HOPE and Pathways. What We're Looking For
- Program coordination and family engagement experience; ability to recruit/manage volunteers, conduct outreach, maintain records, and support child- and family-focused programming.
- Strong relationship-building, collaboration, organizational, and communication skills; ability to work with multidisciplinary teams.
- On-site availability and a proactive, initiative-driven mindset; sound judgment and problem-solving ability. Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $22-$24/hour
