Our client is seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Chief Operating Officer (COO) to provide strategic leadership and oversee the day-to-day operations of the organization. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in construction, chemical manufacturing, or related industries, with a strong track record of operational leadership, project execution, team management, and business performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership and direction for the organization’s day-to-day operations.

  • Oversee and coordinate operational activities across construction, chemical manufacturing, distribution, and other business functions.

  • Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency, productivity, profitability, and overall business performance.

  • Monitor the execution of multiple projects and ensure they are delivered efficiently, safely, on time, and within budget.

  • Lead, mentor, and develop operational and departmental teams to achieve organizational objectives.

  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track operational and business performance.

  • Ensure compliance with all applicable statutory, regulatory, health, safety, quality, and company requirements.

  • Collaborate with the CEO and senior management team in developing and executing business strategies.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, contractors, regulatory agencies, and other key stakeholders.

  • Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Construction Management, Industrial Management, or a related discipline.

  • A Master’s degree (MBA or related field) will be an added advantage.

  • Minimum of 10–15 years’ progressive experience in construction, chemical manufacturing, distribution, or a related industry.

  • At least 4–6 years’ experience in a senior operational or leadership role, such as Operations Manager, General Manager, Project Director, or Deputy COO.

  • Proven experience managing multiple projects, large operational teams, and complex business operations.

  • Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
