Job Description

• We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Chief Operating Officer (COO) to provide strategic and operational leadership across the business.
• The ideal candidate will have strong Telecommunications/ICT industry experience, proven Business Development and commercial leadership skills, knowledge of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and digital transformation, and a strong growth mindset.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership across the Company.
• Drive business growth, revenue generation, and new business opportunities.
• Develop and maintain strong client, partner, and industry relationships.
• Lead business development, tenders, proposals, negotiations, and strategic partnerships.
• Oversee telecommunications and technology-related projects and operations.
• Identify opportunities to apply AI and emerging technologies to improve productivity and business performance.
• Drive operational efficiency, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Lead and develop high-performing teams.
• Monitor business performance and provide strategic recommendations to the Managing Director.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related IT discipline.
• Minimum of 15 years of relevant professional experience, including significant senior leadership experience.
• Proven experience in the Telecommunications/ICT industry.
• Strong Business Development and commercial management experience.
• Demonstrable knowledge of AI, digital transformation, and emerging technologies.
• Strong leadership, strategic thinking, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities and drive sustainable business growth.
• A growth mindset, innovative approach, and strong business acumen.
• Relevant postgraduate qualification or professional certification is an advantage.
