The Chief of Staff will serve as a strategic partner to the CEO, ensuring clarity, alignment, and effective execution across Parfois global business.
The role will be central to connecting strategy with execution, translating the company’s priorities into actionable initiatives, fostering collaboration among senior leaders, and enabling informed, high-impact decision-making at the executive level.
The Chief of Staff will act as a catalyst for organizational effectiveness, ensuring that strategic priorities remain focused, coordinated, and effectively implemented across functions and markets.
Main Responsibilities
- Drive strategic alignment across the organization, ensuring that business objectives and strategic initiatives are appropriately prioritized and executed in line with Parfois long-term vision.
- Partner closely with executive leaders to shape and implement strategic plans that strengthen business performance, support sustainable growth, and enhance organizational effectiveness.
- Provide the CEO with analytical and strategic insights to support executive decision-making and identify emerging opportunities and challenges across functions and markets.
- Lead and coordinate cross-functional strategic initiatives aimed at improving organizational structures, processes, collaboration, and overall business effectiveness.
- Manage core executive processes, including Executive Committee meetings, leadership meetings, business reviews, and strategic planning cycles, ensuring consistency, focus, follow-through, and accountability.
- Facilitate communication and alignment between the CEO and senior stakeholders, promoting transparency, clarity of priorities, and effective execution.
- Support company-wide governance and alignment through participation in Executive Committee meetings and, upon explicit request, other senior-level committees.
- Act as a trusted partner to the CEO and senior leadership team, helping ensure that strategic priorities are translated into measurable actions and outcomes.
Professional Experience & Qualifications:
- Strategic consulting background: Previous experience in a leading strategy consulting firm, ideally within a Retail practice, with exposure to strategic transformation, growth strategy, operating model, and/or performance improvement projects.
- Retail expertise: Strong understanding of the retail sector, including commercial strategy, customer experience, store and digital operations, merchandising, international expansion, and organizational effectiveness.
- Fashion retail experience: Direct experience working within a fashion retailer is highly desirable and will be considered a strong asset.
- Strategic and analytical capabilities: Demonstrated ability to structure complex business challenges, develop data-driven insights, and translate analysis into clear strategic recommendations and actionable plans.
- Executive exposure: Experience working directly with C-suite executives and senior leadership teams, with the ability to navigate complex organizations and operate effectively in high-level decision-making environments.
- Cross-functional leadership: Proven ability to lead and coordinate complex, cross-functional initiatives across multiple functions, geographies, and stakeholders.
- International experience: Experience working in international or multi-market environments is highly valued, particularly within a global or rapidly expanding retail organization.
- Communication and stakeholder management: Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and facilitate alignment across diverse teams.
- Education: University degree from a leading institution; an MBA or postgraduate qualification from a recognized business school would be considered an advantage.
- Languages: Fluency in English, and Spanish or Portuguese is required. Additional languages are considered a plus.
