Job Summary
As the Chief Mechanic, you will oversee the maintenance, repair, and operational reliability of the company's vehicles, machinery, and mechanical equipment, ensuring minimal downtime, safety compliance, and efficient fleet and equipment performance.
Responsibilities
- Lead the inspection, diagnosis, repair, and preventive maintenance of company vehicles, production equipment, and other mechanical systems
- Supervise mechanics and maintenance personnel, allocate tasks, monitor performance, and ensure timely completion of repairs and maintenance activities
- Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance schedules to minimize equipment breakdowns and operational downtime
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance activities, spare parts usage, equipment condition, and maintenance costs
