About the Role Lead and oversee maintenance engineering for Alstom’s railway fleet in India. Drive technical excellence, operational efficiency, and fleet performance across projects, working with cross-functional teams to deliver on contract requirements. What You'll Do
- Be accountable for project QCDP performance and optimizing financial outcomes (margin and cash)
- Define project strategy and ensure alignment with contract requirements
- Lead and coordinate project activities from transfer to close-out
- Manage customer and external stakeholder relationships
- Drive team competency for troubleshooting and technical operations
- Ensure compliance with EHS standards, quality policies, and Alstom processes
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and optimize fleet performance
- Contribute to reliability growth and continuous improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, EHS, Sourcing, ISR, HR and oversee depot activities such as fleet management and maintenance What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Technology (Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics)
- Experience in project management within the railway industry (8–10 years, with at least 5 years in medium-critical projects)
- Strong technical knowledge of rolling stock maintenance, including troubleshooting TCMS and propulsion systems
- Familiarity with railway safety standards, RAMS, and EHS practices
- Proficiency in tools like SAP, MS Project, and other planning systems
- Leadership and team management skills
- Ability to analyze and resolve complex technical issues
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Nice to Have
